Provided on a sliding-fee scale, no one is turned away.

Emergency Assistance ~ Michelle Mackey
Emergency rental and utility assistance, with an eviction notice or cut-off notice, once in a 12-month period. Applications accepted Mondays from 8 a.m. until noon.

Family Builders ~ Antoinette Sablan
Family support through a variety of family-centered services by referral from Child Protective Services.

Ongoing Support Services ~ Lori Carroll

  • Referrals for emergency food box to the Care and Share Food Bank
  • Distribution of donated clothing
  • Distribution of sack lunches; first-come, first-serve basis
  • Referrals to St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop for emergency clothing; once in a three-month period
  • Free local phone calls; phone available for 800 or calling card calls
  • General information and referrals regarding services

Matches prospective volunteers with volunteer opportunities through the Department of Economic Security and affiliated agencies.

Life/Skills Young Fathers ~ Charlie Dean ~ 774.0076
Provides training in the areas of personal, professional and relationship skills to TANF recipients and eligible to 16-to-26-year-old fathers.

SSI Representative ~ Michelle Mackey
A service provided to people who receive Social Security income and need assistance in managing their money; minimal fee.

Referred by the Department of Economic Security.

St. Vincent DePaul Transient Aid Center
Volunteers from the St. Vincent DePaul Society provide emergency aid to travelers from 4 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at our offices. No assistance available by phone; walk-in clients only.
